we have been able to show the practicality of Direct
Investment Casting RP Models. The patterns were created by the Viper from
3D-Systems (at top), Envisiontec Perfactory (in the
middle), and Objet Geometries 3D Printing (at
the bottom of the tree). The patterns were completely burned off with the new
Blackrohr Rapid Burnout System at a significantly lower temperature without any
residue or remaining ash in the mold. The tree was cast in Sterling Silver by a
Jewelery Guild Master.
